Short:

Loud, loyal, and brave; Baruke Spintersteel is a Dwarf barbarian, last son in the house of his ancestors. On the day of his birth, in his 31st year, a raiding party of giants attacked and ravaged his ancestral home of DÅ«nlok Haldur. At the time Baruke, a young blacksmith in training, was linked up with a group of warriors clearing out a neighboring mine of a Night Goblin infestation. He returned home to find his beloved hold in shambles. The Giants had attacked and no scouts had been sent from the outlying guard posts to warn the city of its incoming doom. Worse yet, he was told that it was Baruke’s father that was in charge of the outer defenses, and so was also in charge of sending message to warn the city of any danger. In response to this, and to mourn his father’s death, Baruke swore an oath to shed all his ties and set forth to bring honor back to his family name by completing great deeds. To his friends he is a staunch ally who can be trusted to carve a path through any danger. To his enemies, he is nothing more then a terrifying flash of orange hair and a whirl of axes the moment before their death.
